Description Alpine Springs has 3 main Hot Pools over looking Lake Tekapo and the Two Thumb Range. Each Hot Pool has it's own unique character through various features. The Pools are surrounded by native bush and plants that are synomious with the region. Alpine Springs operates Monday to Sunday 10am - 9pm 364 days. Located in Lake Tekapo, Alpine Springs is a 2.45 hour scenic drive from Christchurch or Queenstown, in the South Island of New Zealand. Alpine Springs also features a Day Spa, Skating Rink (Ice in winter and Roller in Summer), Sauna/Steam Room, Plunge Pool and a fully licensed Cafe. There is something for everyone at Alpine Springs. - These pools are artificialy heated and not natural thermal sulphur pools

- AMAZING place.. so nice to relax in a luxurious setting.. so cool ice skating, then sitting in the hot pools over looking Lake Tekapo and snowy mountains! AND these guys have a great dayspa, i had a "tribal facial" and a massage making this one of the most relaxing days ive ever had!
