Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain, Boundary Street, Te Aroha
Very well renovated, outstanding facilities pool wise and changing rooms. Parking a little difficult due to popularity but worth the effort of a trip to Te Aroha [S. Wilson, Hamilton]

Somerville Road, Okoroire (Tirau)
Nestled on the bank of a stream, Ponga offer a canopy over the hot spring. Basic, but private and super nice. Springs are adjacent to the Okoroire Tavern and there is also a golf course there too. [P. Beere, Hamilton]

Okauia Springs Road, Matamata
Not too flash, Not too shabby. I love the private pool, down by the river. Set in what looks like the basement foundations of an old homestead, surrounded by bush. 3 public pools up top Small (Hot), Medium (Warm) and Large (Cool). [Chris Williams, Hamilton]

Front Miranda Road, Waitakaruru
Approximately 10 dollars entry for adults not sure on kiddie prices although there are kiddie pools. The main pool is HUGE (largest thermal pool in the southern hemisphere) and there are private spas available as well. There is accomodation available at the holiday park next door if your an out of towner. [Nat Thames, NZ]

Front Miranda Road, Waitakaruru
One of my favorite places to stay with spotlessly clean cabins centred around the thermal pool which is not overly large but cosy with shallow kiddies area at one end. They have kiddie-free time as well, early morning and late evening to try and accomodate everyone. The pool is so clean it sparkles and you can't beat it on a cold night with the steam rising from the hot water. Woman that runs it can be a bit miserable but her hubby is welcoming.
