My mother used to work for the the bakers around the 1950’s. Back then it was a hotel and they also used to swim in the lake…its a shame carol that you tell guests that there is a taniwha in the lake,,according to my mum there were never stories of any taniwha in the lake…maybe its your pet eel and you make it fat an healthy by feeding it road kill.
