We only stayed at this campground because wotif had triple booked us at Meranda. I rang Anna and asked if she would have room for 2 adults, 2 children at short notice. She bent over backwards to help us providing mattresses on the floor to fit us in a tiny cabin. If you’re looking for a modern 5 star place this isn’t for you. If however you want somewhere to base yourself while you visit the surrounding area this place if great and reasonably priced. We visited within days of the dreadful Turangi attack on the little girl and we felt that our 4 year old was more than safe. It had a real sense of community. The only complaint would be the mattresses do need replacing and it could do with a touch of paint. Compaired to Waingaro its 10/10!
