Tumoana Point is the Hot Water beach where you dig in the sand, not the main hot pools on lake Rotoiti. If you are in a boat facing the Manupirua hot pools you head to your right and it is a point of land sticking out in to the lake. [Rachel Jamieson, Rotorua New Zealand]
Run down.Water temp varied between the 3 active smallish pools.Hot enough.Pools look out over lake and I could see that in its hey-day,they were very popular due to the setting.
