Yes can be hard to find. The “book” is a bit out of date as the DOC hut is now in a different position further up the valley. I suggest you ask at the hut (it’s got semi-permanent staff doing trapping/research). Friendly folk who might even give you a cuppa. Otherwise the grid ref for L33 is about right (329288). Look for markers on the uphill bush edge of the clearing. The bath is way back in the bush about 5-10 mins walk from the flat. Not very hot but still nice (2006) JR
