These are the pools that i love to visit the most. I love them so much that whenever my husband and I stay at Hanmer springs we always travel the 2 hours to Mauria springs and spend the day there and then drive back to Hanmer. It is the most spectaur scenery bush mountains and the river , all which you can see as you bath in the pools. You just feel you are one with nature. Its so peacfull and quiet and relaxing unlike Hanmer. If you are travelling through the Lewis Pass i highly reccommend that you stop at Mauria Springs
