Maruia Springs Thermal Resort

As NZ’ers in Aus we travel nz annually for a month – Maruia Springs s one of the few places in NZ that makes me embarrassed to be a NZer (parts of Queenstown do as well).. overpriced, tacky… sure the surrounding environment is great but the actual springs themselves – we went October 2007 – that day one pool less than tepid, one so hot you couldnt get in, thus the third had everyone in it… if you want a great hot natural spring go to Miranda
