Am 63yrs old now and used to camp at Sapphire Springs in the early 50’s, 60’s with my parents …. heard was under new management, and decided to visit again, some 50+ yrs later … wowwwww … what a change, cars no longer have to drive across the river, the swing bridge is gone, but goodness me, what a beautiful place, the new owners are working incredibly hard to improve on what I am to believe was a place that had become really run down… They are so friendly and welcoming, the toilet, kitchen facs are kept clean and tidy, and the grounds are looking so cared for …. we stayed over Easter Weekend 2014 and pre ious to that also ….. we,ll be back, so many memories, and will be telling our NZMCA friends … awesome motorhome sites ….
