It should be very clear that the Hotel next door run by Lloyd and Mary DOES provide meals, takeaways, and beer, which has recently been denied to patrons at the pool when asking the pool operators. They also have comfortable accommodation as well, so please do not be put off by the operators at the pool as they are happy to take the hotel lease money but don’t seem prepared to offer the pub operators the benefit of hosting visitors to the pool.
