It has charm, harking back to bygone days . long forgotten NZ treasure.Didnt go to the hotel across the way but it all harkens back to the good ole days of the 60’s-70’s.Basic good fun .The slide was working & all kids going ape on it .
The Water was clean .
Lovely location .
The style is retro reminiscent of a bygone age which is charming .Staff were nice & chatty.
Basic fare was available it was fish n chips .
Prices are cheap for pool & slide if its running .
Take your own picnic & water .
Thats it it’s what it is .
Ill be going back .
