I disagree with some of the bad comments on here.
We visit this weekend to discover Waiwera’s was celebrating their 161 birthday . The staff did a wonderful job with competitions for the children. I was greatly surprised when our daughter won a gift bag which was full of goodies and a free family pass.
I found there was great little areas to sit and plenty of shade. The staff were kind and informative. Yes i must admit that the pools need a paint but that’s only cosmetics. The place was clean and tidy and our whole family had a great day. We spent 6 hours there. So well worth the money.
